During the visit, essential utilities such as Stationaries, Toiletries, Detergents, Toys and a waste bin were donated. The Students sang songs and also played games with the childrenand Miss. - [FIELD TRIP TO YIKHUM VILLAGE](https://mounttiyicollege.com/field-trip-to-yikhum-village/): A field trip was undertaken for the BA 6th Semester (H) students with the objective of aiding them acquire basic knowledge about the Lotha Naga traditional political institution “Chumpo” (Morung) on 27th Apirl 2024. Altogether 11 members including 6 students and 5 teaching faculty participated in the trip.  
- [ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024](https://mounttiyicollege.com/annual-sports-meet-2024/): Mount Tiyi College, Wokha organized Annual Sports Meet 2024 from 23rd to 25th of April 2024 under the theme: “Dedication, Discipline, Victory”. The students were divided into four Teams namely: Amigos (Green), Avengers (Blue), Zenith (Red) and Samurai (White). Zenith team was crowned as the Overall Champion.

Professor and Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Chanchithung Kithan attended the ‘Women Mock Parliament’ debate competition on “Men dictate the vote and voice of Naga Women” under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation, held on 22nd February 2024. The programme was organised by DC and DEO, Wokha in collaboration with the Lotha Eloe Hoho and the District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Wokha.
- [CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT KOIO VILLAGE](https://mounttiyicollege.com/cleanliness-drive-at-koio-village/): The NSS Unit of the Mount Tiyi College organised a cleanliness drive on 17/02/2024 in its adopted village Koio as part of the community service extension programme. Along with cleaning the church and village community hall premises, the volunteers also donated three wal clocks, and also gave a blanket each to the oldest male and female in the village.Altogether 18 volunteers and 3 faculty members took part in the cleanliness drive.

- [INAUGURATION OF ARCHERY](https://mounttiyicollege.com/inauguration-of-archery/): Advisor for Agriculture Mhathung Yanthan inaugurated the introduction of Archery under the aegis of District Sports Council, at Mt. Tiyi College on 15th September 2023. Yanthan said that the College has the best location and its spacious campus holds ample scope for introducing various sporting activities for the students. He also stated that the right training and dedication can produce good players from the district. - [NSS CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT KOIO VILLAGE 2022](https://mounttiyicollege.com/nss-cleanliness-drive-at-koio-village-2022/): The NSS Unit of Mount Tiyi College organised a cleanliness drive in the NSS adopted village of Koio as part of Clean India Campaign on 22nd Oct. 2022 and also donated two Milton waste bins to be kept in the village Community Hall and the village Baptist Church. Entertainment) Connect Day. The first session was a formal one to honour teachers and songs, tribute, voluntary address and tokens of appreciation to the teachers were presented by the students. The second session was a celebration of the 1st MET (MTC, Entertainment) Connect Day and items such as Songs, Drama, Theatre and Dances (both classical and western) were performed by the students.

- [MOCK DRILL 2022](https://mounttiyicollege.com/mock-drill-2022/): A mock drill was conducted by Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with the Disaster Management Committee and Red Ribbon Club of Mount Tiyi College on 16th of March 2022 at the college premises. The institute’s preparedness to deal with natural disasters was assessed and practical trainings were provided to student volunteers and teachers on managing crisis situations such as earthquakes and fire. The students were also given lessons on panic management and the dos and don’ts in crisis situations.
