Initiated by the Mentoring and Discipline Committee, Mount Tiyi College observed National Bullying Prevention Month in October 2022 on the theme “Be a buddy, not a bully”. The month long observation was marked by a workshop on the ill effects of bullying, programmes emphasising on respect and inclusivity in the college, and a month long campaign on what true friendship is whereby students were encouraged to express their thoughts and share their experiences by writing them down in the white board placed in the hallway of the classrooms.
These initiatives were undertaken to help inculcate in the students values of respect, tolerance and love for fellow classmates and other students.
