A cleanliness drive was carried out by the students and teaching faculty of Mount Tiyi College Wokha at Public Ground on 2nd March 2022. A total of 130 students took part in the cleanliness drive. The drive was carried out to create awareness on the importance of keeping public areas clean and to spread the message that as citizens of the district, it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the town, surroundings and places of public use clean and litter free. The drive was also carried out to spread awareness on the ill effects of human induced environmental degradation and the health hazards of living in an unsanitary and unhealthy physical environment.
