GREEN CAMPUS POLICY
Named after the magnificent Tiyi Mountain, Mount Tiyi College is located in Wokha district of Nagaland. The college sits in the lap of nature with rich vegetation surrounding it. However. Wokha district in general and Mount Tiyi College in particular have experienced the brunt Of environmental degradation due to unchecked human activities especially in the recent times.
Keeping in mind the need to act, to preserve the environment and to educate the young generation, the college has ‘been declared a green campus and special initiatives are being undertaken to preserve and develop the vegetation in and outside the campus.
