A seminar on Sexual Harassment at Workplace and Mental Health was held at Mount Tiyi College on the 1st of April 2022. The seminar was organised by IQAC, Mount Tiyi College in collaboration with District Administration of Wokha, District Level Centre for Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra (DLCW-MSK) under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Sakhi- One Stop Centre, Wokha. Renthunglo Kikon, the Centre Administrator of OSC, Wokha and Amenla Longkumer, Clinical Psychologist from DMHP Wokha, spoke on sexual harassment at workplace from different perspectives. Amenla Longkumer also spoke on the importance of a good mental health and the need of awareness amongst young people about mental health. Thungben Kikon, case worker of OSC, Wokha informed the students of the legal provisions available to them for cases of harassment at institutions or workplaces and the procedures involved in filing of harassment cases. Sakhi- One Stop Centre, Wokha handed over three boxes of sanitary pads for use by the students and the same was distributed to all the girls in the college on the 6th of April 2022.
