A National Webinar on the topic “Necessity of Soft skills in Educational Institutions” was organized by the Department of English, MTC in collaboration with the Department of English, Bailey Baptist College, Wokha on the 7th of October 2021 with Dr. Baby Pushpa Sinha of Assam University, Silchar as the Resource Person. While educating the teaching fraternity of different institutions about the importance and significance of soft skills in the work place, the webinar was also an effort of Mount Tiyi College to train Bailey Baptist College, Wokha (Mentee college of Mount Tiyi College) to organise seminars and conferences using the digital platform. The webinar was conducted successfully and was attended by a total of 62 participants from different institutions from both within and outside the state.
