The NSS Unit Mount Tiyi College in Collaboration with the IQAC and the Department of Political Science visited Morning Star Children`s Home on 10th May, 2023 as part of Community Service and donated Rice bags, Milk Powder, Sugar and Tea leaves, Stationary items, Ajanta Wall Clock, Indoor games like Chess & Ludo, Skipping ropes, Toiletry articles, Biscuits and a doll and clothes for the youngest inmate. The Students played games with the inmates and also sang songs and encouraged them to be disciplined and to study hard. The inmates also recited Bible Verses and presented Special Songs. Altogether 11 faculty members and 34 students visited the Children`s Home. The NSS Programme Officer Rentsamo J Humtsoe on behalf of the NSS thanked the College Authority, IQAC Convenor, Department of Political Science, Education and Sociology for making the visit a very successful and memorable one.
